OK as I mentioned before my DD (7) put in a request for a “Just Jawing” card for her birthday party she had today so I set to work last night! The party was for one of her good mates from school who loves super hero’s and skulls so she settled on red, black and gray as her colour scheme and I thought I’d give another of Keesha’s challenges ago to boot!
This week Keesh has given us a sketch challenge…..using a big oval eek!!
And here is what I came up with!!
Not what I would call my usual style but I have been using this set and style more then anything else of late….as I’m sure you can tell but I promise this is the last one! It has been really fun doing the grungy look!
No card for a gift is complete without matching wrapping paper so here is a photo of the lot!!
I was going to use my scary skulls wheel on this card as well but could not find it……I searched and searched for about half an hour and could not work out where it disappeared to! I found it a little later on (you know about 12.30) when I went to hang the washing out! I had accidentally scooped it up and put it through the washing machine! It seems to have fared OK but still has black ink stains, hmph does nothing clean them off??
It was so nice to see how excited Jess was when she saw it this morning, and even nicer when the little girl didn’t want to rip the paper and asked if she could keep it. Ooooh it makes it so worth while doesn’t it?
OK that’s me have heaps to do before bed tonight as I’m hoping to catch up with a friend for an early breakie tomorrow morning!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Steph, I am so v v impressed with the effort of these cards…I love them!!! Grunge does you well and i LURVE the paper. The compliment fm the birthday gal must have puffed the ego…and deservedly so. I am now coming into the age group of cards that u have done these Just Jawing cards for…and I am nearly convinced to get the set (gee thanks…
). TFS such fantastic cards. ooxx

This is sooooooooo awesome Steph! Just love it! Still rather sad I sold my skull set after looking at all your fabo cards using it! I went for something completely different with Keesh’s challenge this week - but gosh it was fun! lol
