SNEAK PEAK – Daisy Delight

What a weekend of crafting I have had! I have been so lucky in that I was able to spend most of my weekend downstairs on my craftroom preparing samples, and cards from the new catalogue! I’m very much in love with the new incolours and can’t wait for you to get to have a play and see what you think!

I’m going to start an incolour club to help you get a little of everything over a period of time…..{cause you really need these ones honest} So stay tuned for more details!

The card I am sharing today is using the Daisy Delight  stamp set and I can see it’s going to be so very versatile! I’ve paired it with the new goodies – Berry Burst card stock and ink and used one of the new clear faceted Gems! The card itself was pretty easy to whip up I’ve done a little background stamping using the Timeless Textures {I’m trying to ween myself off Gorgeous Grunge…Gasp} I’ve then layered 2 daisies on top of each other using some snail to adhere them together! I’ve popped a little silver thread behind them….I’m using this thread a lot lately, added the leaves and then popped the whole flower up on dimensionals.

I finished by stamping Happy Birthday in black and adding some little rhinestones! How simple is that?

These are the sorts of cards we create at my stamp a stacks, which are run monthly on the 3rd Monday evening of the month. If you’d like to come join us and make some gorgeous cards just like this one send me an email or give me a call! If you can’t make my scheduled class but have a group of friends who’d like to make cards to I can always come to you at a time that suits!

Thanks for stopping by

Finally got my craft on!

With the best intentions I never seem to get into my room till late and then the creativity doesn’t seem to flow till even later, I think I made this card around midnight lol! Needless to say I had to wait until morning to photograph it! Perhaps it’s the bedtime deadline that makes me actually get down and create……I do always perform better under pressure. What’s your favourite time to craft? I tend to get lost in time at night when the house is quiet.

Here is last nights card, I wasn’t actually sure where I was going to start. There was a few challenges I looked at but nothing really grabbed me, but then I was working out paper shares and came across this super cute piece of DSP in the Falling In love pack and that’s where I started!

I just love the Special Reason stamp set, with it’s textured rubber it’s just gorgeous, this time I’ve paired it with the speckles out of Gorgeous Grunge {another go to stamp set of mine}. Here I have used Sweet Sugar Plum, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe ink.

I’m putting it out there who’d like to come and craft with me next Friday the 13th of January? We’ll get some pizza’s and craft the night away. $10 buy in {to cover pizza & nibbles} and then I’ll put out some cards you can make {$2 each} or you can bring your own projects and work on them.  You will have access to all my new stamps as well as the old ones plus, inks, punches ect! Turn up anytime from about 6.30pm and get your craft on!

If you could RSVP by Wednesday the 10th that would be fabulous.

Hope to see you here

Some more chalk talk cards!

So it would seem I have gone a little crazy creating with the new Chalk Talk stamp set and matching Framelits so I thought I’d get it over and done with and share a few all in one post!!

So here goes…..

blackboard chalk talk

Here’s the first one, I just love how it turned out. I’ve used Basic Black and Cool Cabana card and ink, the Gorgeous Grunge and Chalk Talk stamp set and the honeycomb embossing folder. It was super easy card!

red chalk talk

The next one uses the same stamp out of the Chalk Talk stamp set but this time I’ve used some cherry cobbler cardstock and a small strip of DSP from the Modern Medley pack and of course there is that Honey Comb embossing folder that I love so much:-)

flag chalk talk

This one was inspired by about half a dozen different versions I found on pintrest so I have no idea who to credit it to  but I think it’s super cute and I loved making the clay flower to match! We’ll be making these in Tech Class next week so much fun. Colours used are Sahara Sand, Crisp Cantoloupe, Cool Cabana and Strawberry slush! The little banners are out of the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and I’ve used he new Modern Mosaic embossing folder.

And then last but certainly not least one of my first I made with this set….

chalk talk

The DSP is now retired;-( but I hadn’t received my new order of goodies when I made this. I’ve used basic grey card and ink and some of the new this and that washi tape!

There are still a few more cards but I think you’ve done pretty well to last this long with me so I’ll pop back in another time to share some more Chalk Talk goodness with you! I’ve also just received the new Six Sided Sampler and I am sure I am going to fall in love with that just as much as I have with these sets!

If you have any questions on any of these cards please do not hesitate to ask!!

Thanks for sticking it out till the end……Speak soon
