SNEAK PEAK – DELIGHTFUL DAISY AGAIN!

I’ve been having another play with the Daisy Delight stamp set and this time paired it with the Delightful Daisy DSP! These colours are so up my alley! I love them all!  I took my colour scheme from the DSP and used some Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and a little elegant eggplant!

There are so many lovely sheets of DSP in this pack I’m torn between which ones to use first! I’m still running with #loveitchopit by Kylie Bertucci!! Have you cut into any DSP lately? Ore are you still hoarding it!

Don’t forget I am offering a paper share from the new catalogue, 119 sheets of 6×6 DSP for $50!

SNEAK PEAK – Daisy Delight

What a weekend of crafting I have had! I have been so lucky in that I was able to spend most of my weekend downstairs on my craftroom preparing samples, and cards from the new catalogue! I’m very much in love with the new incolours and can’t wait for you to get to have a play and see what you think!

I’m going to start an incolour club to help you get a little of everything over a period of time…..{cause you really need these ones honest} So stay tuned for more details!

The card I am sharing today is using the Daisy Delight  stamp set and I can see it’s going to be so very versatile! I’ve paired it with the new goodies – Berry Burst card stock and ink and used one of the new clear faceted Gems! The card itself was pretty easy to whip up I’ve done a little background stamping using the Timeless Textures {I’m trying to ween myself off Gorgeous Grunge…Gasp} I’ve then layered 2 daisies on top of each other using some snail to adhere them together! I’ve popped a little silver thread behind them….I’m using this thread a lot lately, added the leaves and then popped the whole flower up on dimensionals.

I finished by stamping Happy Birthday in black and adding some little rhinestones! How simple is that?

These are the sorts of cards we create at my stamp a stacks, which are run monthly on the 3rd Monday evening of the month. If you’d like to come join us and make some gorgeous cards just like this one send me an email or give me a call! If you can’t make my scheduled class but have a group of friends who’d like to make cards to I can always come to you at a time that suits!

Sneak Peak – Daisy Delight Designer Series Paper!!

I have been playing with some of my new goodies and thought I’d share some of my favourites, I cased this card from one Kylie Bertucci did a while ago! Kylie has this awesome hashtag #loveitchopit so I’m going with that this year after pulling out far to many barely used packs of designer series paper! And kicking off my #loveitchop it cards is one using the new Delightful Daisy Designer series paper!

This card was super easy to put together, I used 1 piece of DSP (9cm x 9.4cm) layered on a piece of whisper white card stock. I then picked some colours from the DSP, to complete the card. I also silver embossed my sentiment and added some silver ribbon across the join! How super easy and imagine how many cards you could get out of a pack of designer series paper if you actually use it up!

These are the colours I have used! I wouldn’t have put these colours together normally but they do really work together, well I think so anyway!

Happy New Year……and the last sneak peak!

Happy New Year to you all, last year seemed to whizz by and it all a bit of a blur!

My wish for anyone reading this is that 2017 is full of love, laughter and prosperity.  Have you set any new years resolutions? I honestly haven’t but am looking for something to aim for more of a goal rather then a resolution. I’ll let you know when I find something. Leave me a comment with yours!

We have just had the most relaxing 4 days away as a family at Hastings Point, it was very much needed to just unwind and spend time together.  We have come back revitalized and ready to face the coming year!!

So today is the last day of the sneak peaks as the Occasions catalogue and Sale-a-bration go live tomorrow!! I’m so excited I can’t wait for you to be able to have a look and see what’s in there that you love!!

I made another card using the Special Reason stamp set, and I have another few to hopefully make that are floating around in my head!

Here I have used Watermelon Wonder, Basic Grey, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Whisper White. I used the Endless Birthday wishes stamp set for the sentiment…..it’s a bit of a fav of mine!

SNEAK PEAK – New Watercolour Pencils!

I’m so excited!! Stampin’ Up! have come out with some new water colour pencils in the new Occasions Catalogue.

I’ve had a little play but nothing exciting or share worthy cause if you know me, you know I don’t colour in much so this is going to be something new for me……so instead I found this video by the gorgeous Shannon and thought I would share that with you, so you can see for yourself how cool they are:)

What do you think? Are you someone who would like to have a go at these? I plan to sit down and have a play over the weekend as I have a new sale-a-bration set screaming for me to ink it up and colour it in. Hopefully by next week I’ll have some samples with it!

Don’t forget both the catalogues go live on the 3rd of January….I’m so excited.

Birthday Bright – SNEAK PEEK

So does anyone know what day it is today? It’s that time of year when you aren’t to sure what day it is and what you should be doing lol! It’s a bit like that here at the moment, which just quietly I love!

My big girl has a few birthday party’s coming up in the next week…..yes I said a few, so I have made a few cards for her in advance. Of course I had to make them using some of the new products from the new Occasions catalogue!

Here I have used a set called Birthday Bright, which is super easy to use and I love the font options with the sentiments. I used some more of the Urban Underground DSP…..yes I do love it! Colours are Bermunda Bay, Basic Black and Whisper White. Again this is a pretty simple sketch but I think I’ll be using it again soon!

Don’t forget there is only 2 days left of my free shipping offer, {All orders over $50 receive free shipping from me} Shoot me an e-mail if you’d like to place an order

SNEAK PEAK – CASED Special Reason

As soon as I saw this set I fell in love with it, I love a stamp set that you can randomly stamp to make gorgeous papers! If you’ve been a customer for a while you may remember my love of Bodacious Bouquet {Gosh I loved that stamp set!}

Well Special Reason is a little bit similar in that I think it would make awesome specialty papers for scrapbooking and card making alike! To get my creativity flowing I cased one of Kylie Bertucci’s cards {You can see it by clicking on the link on her name} using this stamp set! I love Kylie’s style and often check out her blog for inspiration!

I changed the colours up a little as I have used so much Real Red, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso for Christmas I was ready for a change!

Here’s mine…..What do you think?

I have used Melon Mambo, Smoky Slate and Going Grey and am really happy with how it turned out! I can’t wait to show you some of the other cards I made using this set!!

Now on to more exciting things……new products and cards! Yesterday afternoon I continued to play with the Urban Underground papers, this time I teamed them with the Timeless Textures & Sunshine Sayings stamp sets and came up with another masculine birthday card. Don’t you just love the colour combination of Crushed Curry, Basic Grey, Crumb Cake and whisper white together.

I love the layout of this card as you could use it for either male or female cards and just change up the colours used……I might even have a go at making a female version of this card this afternoon.

Enjoy your last  minute Christmas preparations and spending time with family!

Sneak Peak – Urban Underground Male Birthday

I don’t know about you but I always struggle for male cards. I’m obviously partial to ribbons, bows and pretty things lol! But I was pretty chuffed with how this Urban Underground male card came out!

Jackson has a birthday party this afternoon for a friend who is turning 13, so I pulled out some of my new papers and had a play! I have used the Urban Underground DSP {this just links to my online store the actual paper won’t be there until the 4th of January, the code is 142783 if you’d like to purchase so}

How gorgeous are these papers? I can see so much potential with them, I took my colour palette for this card from the papers themselves!

I also used the coordinating Urban Underground Washi tape on the card {142787} and my all time favourite birthday stamp set Number of Years! This set and matching framelits has been an all time favourite this year, it’s so simple to use and looks awesome, especially when you are wanting to do an age birthday!

What do you think? I’m very happy with how the card turned out and even more happy that the photo worked so well, I have basically given up on my camera and this was taken with my iPhone {who knew they take better photo’s then a camera Huh?}

I’d love to hear from you please leave me a comment below.

Another Sneak Peak – Cool Treats card

Jess and I are back from the coast and the Super Sprint Weekend Jess did so well. She maintained her 3rd place in the second day of competition which was fabulous, we are super proud of her! We are both exhausted, but are now moving on to getting ready for Christmas, which terrifyingly is only 7 days away!

I thought I’d share another Cool Treats card I made the other day while I was playing!

I’m sure I’ve mentioned but Cool Treats is a super fun set to use, lots of 2 step stamping, To get the two toned images I just stamped off the background colour and then stamped the accents with full strength colour! The new occasions catalogue goes live on the 4th January along with Sale-a-bration! Contact me if you’d like your own copies

Hope you’ve all had a great weekend.

Cool Treats – Sneak Peak

Oh my goodness this stamp set is so fun to play with and there is now so many ideas floating around in my head, of course though it was 11pm when I really started to get going. Does that happen to you…..you spend ages deciding what you want to do then you finally get started only to run out of time and have to go to bed so you can function the next day?

So once again I started out by casing a card or 2 firstly one straight out of the catalogue and then this cutie here this was my take on it, I changed the colours up a little and used a little different DSP.

Isn’t it just the cutest? I love these colours the subtles colour range have always been a favourite of mine ever since I started with Stampin’ Up! and the new incolours fit in with is so nicely! {It really is my happy place lol!}

Here I have used Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Pear Pizzazz.
