Ink and Inspiration blog hop #3 – Watercolouring

Ink & Inspiration Blog hop - Masculine Cards

Welcome to the third Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting me Stephanie Pike from Australia. This month’s theme is watercolour! Now if you attend my classes you will know I am not one for traditional watercolouring, I just don’t have the patience  or the know how for it to look awesome. So I tend not to do it!

So today I have done something a little different! I have done a tissue paper watercolour background! It is so super easy to create and so effective, but a little messy lol!!

There are a number of tutorials out there, but I thought I’d do one for you so I could share it here! Please be kind it’s my first video tutorial i have ever done with me talking!!

I didn’t mention it in my video but the colours I used are Lemon lime twist, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay!

I hope the projects you’ve seen here on my blog and through the blog hop today have inspired you & brightened your day.  Check out the list below & hop on through all of the awesome crafters on the list to see all our projects. Trust me you don’t want to miss any!

What a wonderful tutorial. I am about to try soem water color techniques so your timing is perfect. I love this method and it does give your card that WOW factor. Looks like I might need to find some disposable gloves as I know I will end up with coloured fingers or hands. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
