Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop #5

Ink & Inspiration Blog hop - Masculine Cards

Hi All,  Welcome to another ink and inspiration blog hop I’m Stephanie and you are visiting my blog in Australia! Today’s theme is Wedding or Anniversary cards!

I wasn’t sure where to go with the one, believe it or not I have not done a huge amount of wedding or anniversary cards recently……but I’m really happy with how this turned out!!

It’s really pretty in real life it’s soft and romantic, well I think so anyway!

Sunshine sayings - Congratulations card

The card itself is super simple to put together, to start I mounted up a panel of the gold foil paper attached to a piece of whisper white cardstock and popped up on dimensionals. Next i grabbed a piece of water colour paper and smooshed some Pink Pirouette and Flirty flamingo ink all over it. I had watered it down a fair bit so it was nice and runny! Once it was dried I cut out a piece using a square stitched shape framelit.

While I was over at my big shot I cut out the heart from the gold foil and the congrats our of pink pirouette cardstock. I edged it in Flirty Flamingo and then went over the whole thing with my wink of stella pen so it looks really sparkly in real life!

I then gold embossed the sentiment on a strip of whisper white cardstock and cut like a banner on both ends. Of course once I finished the card it needed a little bling so I added a few rhinestones to finish off the card!

I hope the projects you’ve seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting (your name). Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don’t want to miss any!”
