It’s been a busy weekend here in the Pike household, Jess had her second Australian Youth juniors competition in Robina on Saturday. Thankfully the weather cooled and didn’t reach the forcast temperature! She did really well, in her first race it was raining and very slippery she had a fall on her bike on one of the turns but she managed to get up put the chain on and finish the race coming in 10th place. Later in the day in her second race she had a fabulous race and placed 3rd. Resulting in an overall position of 7th for the day.

Last week I finally ordered the Oh So Succulent stamp set and I have been dying to ink it up! I have seen so many cute things made with it and I really wanted to have a go! But of course as soon as I had a chance to play my mojo took a short hiatus lol! Anyway I’m not 100% happy with this creation and I’m hoping to have another go soon!

Seriously tho how cute are these succulents I could just stamp and cut them out all day! I also am a bit partial to 2 step stamping as it makes you look like a colouring in pro lol!
The colours I have used on this card are Sweet Sugar Plum, Peekaboo peach, Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz. I have stamped the outline image first and then stamped off on to some scrap paper and then stamped the background image over the outline to give the two tones effect with one stamp pad! Clever hey? Check out the link below to see how many pieces you get in both the stamp and framelits the potential with this stamp set is endless!!
Hope all the kids returning to school have a fabulous week!
